Bumpers: Minor Impact Damage and Crash Repair
GRP and Plastic bumpers repaired using modern plastic welding techniques suitable for most structural plastics used for vehicle body parts such as bumpers. HGV, Truck, Lorry, Van Bumpers and Custom Vehicle Body kits can be repaired or reconstructed.
Plastic bumpers tend to have greater flexibility compared to equivalent parts made of steel or aluminium and are generally easier to repair even when split, holed or severely damaged
Warped bumpers can usually be straigtened and reinforced to prevent further warping
New Bumpers and Used Bumpers
replacement bumpers either new or secondhand can be fitted when the damaged bumper is beyond repair. We'll let you know when we provide a repair estimate.
Once the plastic repair is completed the bumper can be refinished primed and painted using the appropriate paint system.
Other plastic components likely to be damaged with a front end impact can often be repared while finishing the bumber for a rapid turnround. If we can't fix them we'll find repalcement parts and colour match:
